Second Life

Second Life - An online 3D digital world with growing popularity (currently half a million residents), growing commerce in its virtual properties and now a virtual venue for live rock concerts by names like Duran Duran and Suzanne Vega.

And the best thing about it aside from you finally having a real alter ego in your own immersive parallel universe?
It's cross platform - Macs and PCs are good to go!
