Creative Microsoft Technologies
Recent rumors that Microsoft might buy Singapore's very own baby Creative Technologies saw gains in its stock performance. That's a good thing. Creative is one of the worst performing stocks in the market this year and losing severely its iPod war.
I'm of the Apple camp but if the rumors are true, it'd be an even better thing. Creative needs new leadership. They also need new product strategies. They have to realise that they don't have to be Apple to beat Apple (there is room for other fruits), that content is King and that it is but a brittle shell if there is no yolk.
They need new blood. They need new leadership.
And they better hurry. Its getting dark out there.
